A complex sentence has more than one clause. It has added detail giving the reader more information. It adds interest and makes writing JUICY.

You can add to the

beginning

middle

end

of simple sentences.

I Heard A Whisper

One Shiny Morning there was a girl name Jenny She liked playing in the forest. But then the next day she heard a whisper but she didn’t know where it was coming from then she heard a another one . She could heard boy whispering “who’s there she said” but

no one replied back.

So the next morning she told her mum she was gonna go out to play in the forest then her mum replied back and “said yes but be care fall said” her Jenny mum then Jenny ran out the door to go outside. As she ran she could see hot air balloons floating in the sky then she saw little lady bags leading Jenny to where the sound is coming from. Just as she got closer she started to have a weird feeling because the was coming from a tree.

When she got there she saw a door stack on a tree “this might be a tree house she said”. She heard another then she took one step then another step then she took one more step . As she took three step she twisted the handle and opened the door but no one was there. But when she went to check in the room no one was there than the

kichan but still no one there.

Then she heard the whisper and got closer to it . She heard another one then she got closer , closer and closer then she open the door and no one was there .Then she went chack on the tv and there it was just the tv . Someone forgot to turn of the tv before they left said Jenny to her safe.

As she looked around to see anyone was here she opened the door and went home.

  

   

Shot-Put

On Friday Morning we had Athletics. I was so happy because I love getting fit and getting to try new things. When we went to set in our years and listen to what sport are we doing next.


Then they called year 6 to go to the shot put area on the failed. As we got there we set down and listen to the instruction that Miss Takere give us. Then we stand up to start I was so nervous because the sort pot looked so hard. But then I was up next I didn't really know where to start so then Miss Takere told
me to hold the shot port next to my nick then bend my nee and look at the watch on my hand and throw.

   
When I throw it it only went half way but I still tried then it was final it was to Jordenne , Meleane and Mua. First up was Jordenne . As I watched her throw the short put Meleane was next then mua. Then  Meleane was next she throw far as she can then Mua . First place went Meleane then jordenne then mua.

The Three Little Pigs

Once upon a time there were three little pigs. They were a grown up and they left their mother to seek their own fortune.

The first little pig decided to make his house out of hay. So he found a lady that was selling hay and went ahead and bought it .It was so easy to built but it was so weak then came the big bad wolf and smelt  bacon.

“Little pig, little pig let me  come in”  shouted the wolf “Not by the hairs of my chinny chin chin” replied the pig.. “Then I’ll huff and puff and blow your house down” shouted the wolf. Then he blow the house down and ate the little pig until it was finish.

The second little pig was a bit more clever than the first little pig .The second little pig built his house out of sticks. So he found a man that was selling sticks and went and bought it then the little pig built his house when he was finished he had a coke.Then came the big bad wolf

“Little pig little pig let me in” growled the wolf. “Not by the hairs of my chinny chin chin” the pig replied. “Then I’ll huff and puff and I’ll blow your house down” .So he blow his house down and ate the little pig “yumm” said the bad wolf.

The third little pig was the clever one he built his house out of breaks so he found a man that was seling breaks and bought it so he got the breaks and built his house. When he was finished he made him pancakes then along came the big bad wolf.

“Little pig little pig let me in” not by my hair of my chinny chin “Then I’ll huff and puff and blow your house down”.So he blow his house down but it didn't come down.

Then he huffed and puffed again but it still didn't come down so the big bad wolf had a different plan, he climbed onto the roof while the little pig was inside making a pot of boiling hot water then the big bad wolf went down the chimney .

When he was going down the chimney he fell into a pot of boiling hot water and briant his head and his body  then they lived happily ever after.

What I Have Been Learning For Muiplication

Antarctica long dasit

One morning there  was a man name Mr Somerville he was a teacher at this school he really wanted to see how it was like in Antarctica and  how frosty it was so when it was the holiday he decided to go so he put warm clothes on him and packed what he need. Mr Somerville talk

a helicopter to Antarctica it talk him about 12 hours to get to Antarctica.

As soon as Mr Somerville got there he was so cold and he only had two jakat on so Mr Somerville keep walking and then Mr Somerville saw a leopard seal saw so Mr Somerville started to ran and it was so windy but then he stop and had a drink and after his drink he made him a tent and went to sleep.

The next day Mr Somerville work up he got out off his tent and started walking then he fall

into an ice cave but he didn't no how and he couldn't get out so he spent the night in the cave.

That morning he hared some one and then he saw a rope coming down then some one told him to

hang on to the rope so he hang on the rope and he got poled up and went and went back to Antarctica

This afternoon i have been learning how to take core samples.we took samples from a cupcake and guessed what the core (inside) looked like. in real life geologists take samples of what is underneath the

What The......?

There was a girl that was very angry her name was  Jenny. She was very angry that she wasn’t allowed to go anywhere. Anywhere her mum goes in the car she wasn't allowed to go to.   

But one day Jenny got jorp of to school from her mum. Jenny saw everybody else's with new shoes. She started to feel left out so after school she begged and begged but her mum  still didn't buy her her some new shoes.

The week after Jenny still wanted new shoes so she got her old shoes and throw it on the power line. The next day Jenny mum went shopping before her mum went she begged. As soon as her mum came back she call Jenny to come and look at something. She surprise Jenny with new shoes.

Jenny was happy that she got brand new shoes that she would where it to school every day and left her old shoes up the power line.        

Getting Reading For The FiaFia

Did you know that my Fiafia group is tongan group. The reason why I picked that group is because my mum wanted me in that group. We have been practicing every day and I think the dance is great. I can’t wait for fia fia because I can’t wait to see people performing on stage in front of people.

I think our dance is cool. But we are tall practicing getting on and getting off. I think i'm gonna be  nervous when it comes to the fia fia. We have been practicing fia fia every

thursday. Fia fia is so cool that you can enjoy having fun with people.

Main Characters: The Main Characters of the story is Esela the fast feet and solomona and the mum.

Setting: This story was set at school felled and at home.

Orientation: In the beginning Esela woke up very early. But he was so so excited to go to sleep. At lunchtime Esela and some of the children had been practising with Mr Togavale. In the whole school Esela was the fastest eight year old kid and every one called him fast feet.

Problem: The problem was that Solomon was trying to trick Esela buying telling him that if he put a tooth under his pillow he was sure to find some money under his pillow in the morning.

Action: The Action was that he didn't where has new shoes.

Outcome: At the end Esela  came first and  Solomona was cheering from the side. When Esela open his bag and got out his lunch box for his drink bottle.

Easter Weekend

On Easter weekend  I was so busy that I couldn't have my Easter day. But on Friday my mum  

and dad went down to the store and bought eight Easter egg. Scenic we got our own Easter egg from school lucky my mum got to get some but my dad went work. Because we couldn’t have  our Easter on sunday we had it on Friday.

On saturday me and my sister and brother went to riverina school for a church fun.

first we had to get into group than we do all these thing but it went all day and it finished at 10:00.

The next day on sunday we went to church and we came back at 8:00.

So Monday we all had a piece fall day well my mum and dad went out aging.

Sleeping In A Tent

At night when we were going to sleep in the tent it was so cold that I didn't feel uncomfortable.

The ground was hard and wet. When it was the middle of the night we could hear

strange noises coming past . We could hear teachers growling it some people .

This has been a long holiday day before I went back to school. On the first week of school
